Dr. Cole Hosenfeld is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. Dr.
Cole has a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology and earned his
Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St.
Louis, Missouri. In St. Louis, he completed internships at Rainbow
Clinic for the mentally handicapped, Harbor Light clinic for the
indigent, Salvation Army’s Cocaine and Alcohol abuse center, and
Montgomery Health center. He has been the Team Chiropractor for the
Nashville Sounds AAA Baseball team, LPGA (Nashville tour), Knoxville
Summit Women’s Football League and is currently the chiropractor for
Premier Gymnastics and Tumbling. In 2002, Dr. Cole was awarded the
prestigious "Young Chiropractor of the Year" award by the Tennessee
Chiropractic Association. In 2003, he was elected to the Tennessee
Chiropractic Association’s board of directors and is currently serving
as secretary. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association,
Tennessee Chiropractic Association, Tennessee Valley Chiropractic
Association, and Business Network International.
Dr Cole’s practice focus is primarily on athletic and habit related
injuries and his passion is teaching. He is an avid lecturer to the
community and is an adjunct staff lecturer to the TCA for state
continuing education. His main goal is to equip patients with the
knowledge of how to prevent injuries from occurring. He enjoys accepting
the complicated cases that other practitioners are unsure how to handle.
Teaching people how to take control of their nerve/muscle/skeletal
dysfunctions through knowledge, acceptance, and action is the key to his
patients healing. Dr. Cole uses a variety of Chiropractic Techniques for
treatments, integrating them with functional rehabilitation, European
Manual Medicine, Physical Therapy, and kinesiology.
Dr. Cole is happily married to his wife Jana, and they have two
daughters, Anna Jane and Clara Marie. He enjoys woodworking, disc golf,
reading and hiking. He is an active member of Cokesbury United Methodist
Church.
