Dr. Chris Hosenfeld
Dr.
Chris Hosenfeld is a Certified Chiropractic Rehabilitation Specialist.
Dr. Chris has a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology and earned his
Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St.
Louis, Missouri. He is the Clinic Director for Hosenfeld Chiropractic
since 1987. He has been the Team Chiropractor for the St. Louis Golden
Gloves, Knoxville Rugby Club, Knoxville Gymnastic Training Center,
Premier Gymnastic Center, the Knoxville Cherokees Hockey Team, and a
board member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association. He has been the
team Chiropractor for the University of Tennessee Woman's Athletic
Department since 2000. He is a member of the American Chiropractic
Association, Diagnostic Imaging Center for the ACA, the Tennessee
Chiropractic Association and the Foundation for Chiropractic Education
and Research.
Dr. Chris's practice focus is primarily on sports and accident
rehabilitation and his passion is teaching. One of his goals is for his
patients to have access to as much information concerning their
condition as they wish. He enjoys taking complex neuromusculoskeletal
problems making them understandable. He feels that if the patients
understand their condition and the everyday factors that may keep them
from attaining a full recovery, the patient becomes more compliant and
becomes an integral part of the healing process. Dr. Chris uses a
variety of chiropractic techniques for treatments, integrating them with
athletic training, European manual medicine, physical therapy, and
muscle energy techniques.
Dr. Chris has been happily married to his wife Lynn for 21 years and is
the father of three children, Mathew age 12, Collins age 11, and
Catherine age 7. He enjoys gardening, weight lifting, hiking, Boy
Scouts, the lake and playing with his children. He is a member of a
variety of business organizations.
